150 years of BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences): SAN Group part of Featuring Future Conference

SAN Group supports its long-term research partner BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences) on the occasion of its 150-year anniversary. The Managing Director of SAN Agrow, SAN Group‘s plant protection segment, took part in a panel on the Green Deal, which was part of BOKU’s featuring future conference.

In times of climate crisis, increasing resource consumption and population growth, BOKU brought together Austria’s economy and voices of the future at their future conference taking place on May 24-25, 2022.

At the conference, the biggest challenges of our times were discussed, such as the role of science in future global challenges and sustainable models which could contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Matthias Klemm, Managing Director of SAN Agrow represented SAN Group in the discussion on the “Green Deal – Creating the world of tomorrow” – our organization’s core topic. “All we do at SAN Group is sustainable. We are pioneers when we are talking about the Green Deal and how we can manage to reduce pesticides by 50% in Europe. We are on a good path and can provide practical sustainable solutions,” says Klemm with a confident look to the future.
