Topping-out ceremony: Another milestone for SAN Biotech Park

Ceremony on the occasion of completing the shell of the main building

On March 30, 2023, STRABAG and SAN Group had a traditional topping-out ceremony in the completed shell construction of the main building. Until the end of 2023/beginning of 2024, a cutting-edge research and development center for up to 200 employees will be built.

In the presence of Mayor Christoph Artner, representatives of the city of Herzogenburg, and representatives of STRABAG, who were in charge of the construction, SAN Group as the owner said thank you to everybody involved for reaching this milestone. After reading the traditional topping-out statement and the handover of the topping-out money by Johann Trauninger, Chief Production & Procurement Officer of SAN Group and Project Manager for the construction of SAN Biotech Park, all guests were invited to enjoy snacks and drinks. “Although we are currently facing challenges in the construction industry, the cooperation with STRABAG and all sub-contractors involved has been absolutely flawless over the past months. We are well on schedule. In one year we will move in. Today it’s time to say thank you,” Mr. Trauninger said.
